AI-Intensive weekend
June 7-9, 2024

How about spending a long weekend in Barcelona, seeing the sights as well as learning about how to use AI to improve your footwear workflow? Many people have asked us to organize courses on the weekend to make it easier to combine with work, so from June 7-9 your are welcome to join us in the most inspiring city of Europe!

This weekend is meant for product managers, creative directors, senior designers and trend forecasters that want to learn how to apply AI to optimize their product development workflow from ideation to manufacturing.

We will focus on how to use AI  for creating coherent and manufacturable collections that consistently follow your brand DNA and the seasonal trends that are relevant to your brand. We also will show you how AI can streamline collaboration among all stakeholders, saving you loads of time and money.

We intentionally organize this course for a small group with a maximum of 6 people, so we can tailor the contents to each participant.

This course is a great combination with our ongoing online course AI for Footwear, which is why we now have an amazing course bundle that includes both courses!

Would you rather take this course with your own team in the comfort of your own office? Then just contact us to discuss our options for in-company training.
Would you join a live class around this visual forecast that talks about the technology behind the Yeezy Foam Runner and how this could evolve into the future? Leave your email below to receive an invitation!
Here is a great example of one the many helpful AI workflows that you will learn in this weekend: going from a very simple sketch to a full photorealistic render to an editable Illustrator vector drawing that is suitable for production in only a matter of minutes. We will make sure there is enough time to learn AND enjoy sunny Barcelona!

Course Schedule

Friday June 7:
General introduction to AI for footwear
Basics of AI prompting
Basics of text to image AI

Saturday June 8:
Advanced AI prompting
Advanced text to image AI
Sunday June 9:
Basics of 3D AI
Combining several AI applications into streamlined workflows

Classes are each day from 8:30 to 15:30 with a 90-minute lunch break so you will have enough time to also enjoy the culture, climate and culinary joys of Barcelona. Since we know from experience that our participants usually want to make their own plans we will not organize extra-curricular activities, but we will gladly share our insiders list of favorite restaurants and bars, shops, views, museums and much more!

We are showing you workflows for all parts of the design process. For instance, AI also allows you to create design drawings, either from scratch or using existing sketches or photographs. This allows you to streamline the way you create CADs, so you no longer have to spend hours in Illustrator.
We will teach you how to generate photorealistic designs from scratch and adjust details to get to the exact visual that you have in mind. For this we wil use a series of different applications and we will make sure you will have the very latest information.
Many brands have carry over styles or existing tooling that they would like to use in new collections. We will show you how you can train an AI model to make quick renditions based upon these. This way you can have AI models for all your iconic looks for your designers and color/material teams to work with. You can even combine these models to create new icons.

3D options for AI are continually improving and expanding. We will take you through the existing options and explain their pros and cons in comparison with - and in combination with - existing 3D design applications.
