This course is highly individualized, so the schedule depends on what each participant wants to achieve. The goal is to get the prototype ready for production and/or investment rounds. We can now also offer small production runs of footwear - maximum 200 pairs - where we can make the knitted parts in house and have the 3D printing done by partnering print farms.

Course format

classes are from 10:00 - 18:00 each day, with a 1 hour lunch break

This course is a fusion of consulting and education. We will discuss your needs with you ahead of time and will make a personal learning plan for you. This also includes advice on which 3D modeling training you would need to follow before you arrive in Barcelona.

We focus on constructions that can be as automated as possible, suitable for local, on demand manufacturing, and with an end-of-life system in place.
You will be doing the design and making yourself, but our team is there to help you get the best result possible and will also suggest alternatives, if it turns out that certain ideas do not work out as planned. The goal is to leave with your finished prototypes, ready for manufacturing.

You will also have the skills to create more examples by yourself and we can advise you what printer or other machines you might need
